work half time as the Public Relations Specialist for Shriners Hospitals for
Children, Chicago, job sharing with the only other PR person there. I do most
of their writing, write and edit several glossy magazines a year, as well as
web content, and news releases. I handle all the media for the hospital,
besides hosting groups and parties there and serving as the secretary for the
Associate Board of the hospital. Lately I've been doing a lot of TV work for
them-- PBS, the Discovery Channel, and local news features. My wonderful
husband of nearly 20 years is a lawyer from New York-- we met while we were
both going to graduate school in Washington, DC. We've got three kids: Megan,
18, is headed for the University of Chicago next year; Josh, 16; and Sam, 12.
Despite the fact that it isn't nearly as physically pretty as Louisville, we
love Chicago and plan to be here forever. Hope everyone from the class of '69
is great! |
